We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with strong experience in designing and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data warehousing, particularly with the AWS ecosystem, and a passion for delivering scalable, high-performance data solutions. This role is ideal for individuals who are highly technical and have a strong career focus on AWS technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
•Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions using Redshift and star schema architecture.
•Build and orchestrate reliable and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Athena, and Apache Airflow.
•Write efficient and optimized SQL and Python scripts to process and transform large datasets.
•Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
•Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring data integrity and availability.
•Stay current with AWS innovations and best practices to continuously improve system architecture.
Required Skills and Experience:
•Strong experience with data warehouse architecture and star schema design.
•Deep hands-on expertise with AWS services including Redshift, Athena, and Glue.
•Proficiency in Python and SQL.
•Solid experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
•Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
•Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Valuable to Have:
•Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
•Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging/streaming platforms.
•AWS certifications are a plus.
