We are looking for an experienced AVP/VP Private Equity Fund Accounting

Role Purpose

Lead the end-to-end private equity fund accounting function across multiple vintages, strategies (buyout, growth, venture, co-invest, secondaries), and structures (LP funds, feeder funds, parallel vehicles, SPVs). Own the platform, process, people, and client service pillars to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting, investor servicing, and regulatory compliance at scale. Serve as a critical liaison with Front Office, Investor Relations, Tax, Compliance, and external administrators/auditors.

Requirements

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline.
- CPA, ACA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent skilled qualification preferred.
- 14+ years of experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting, Alternative Investments, Fund Administration, or Asset Management.
- Strong expertise in private equity fund structures, capital activity management, investor reporting, and complex fund operations.
- Deep knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, ASC 946, ASC 820, valuation principles, carried interest, waterfalls, side letters, and fee calculations.
- Experience with private equity platforms such as Investran, Allvue, eFront,



or similar fund accounting systems.
- Proven ability to lead global teams, manage senior stakeholders, and drive process transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and client servicing skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end private equity fund accounting operations across multiple fund structures including PE funds, feeder funds, parallel funds, co-investments, and SPVs.
- Oversee fund financial reporting, NAV preparation, investor reporting, capital accounts, and financial statement delivery under US GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage capital calls, distributions, equalizations, carried interest, waterfall calculations, management fees, and investor allocations.
- Ensure compliance with private equity regulatory, tax, audit, and investor reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Act as the senior stakeholder for LPs, GPs, auditors, fund administrators, investor relations, compliance, and investment teams.
- Drive operational excellence through process standardization, automation, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own and enhance fund accounting platforms, data governance frameworks, reporting systems, and automation solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing fund accounting teams while supporting fund launches, business growth, and strategic transformation initiatives.
