Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AVEVA PI System Engineer with expertise in OSIsoft PI System, AVEVA PI, Industrial Data Historian, Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and Data Integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing PI System solutions for real-time operational data management and analytics across industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and support AVEVA PI System (formerly OSIsoft PI) solutions.
- Configure and maintain PI Data Archive, Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, PI Interfaces, and Connectors.
- Develop and manage data collection from industrial systems such as SCADA, DCS, PLC, MES, and IoT platforms.
- Configure PI tags, event frames, calculations, notifications, and data models.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using PI Vision.
- Integrate PI System with enterprise applications such as ERP, MES, Data Lakes, and Analytics platforms.
- Perform system upgrades,



migrations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Ensure PI infrastructure security, reliability, and availability.
- Support operational and business teams with real-time data analytics requirements.
- Create documentation, monitoring procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills
- 3 to 15 years of experience in AVEVA PI / OSIsoft PI System.
- Strong knowledge of PI Data Archive, Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, PI Notifications, and Event Frames.
- Experience with PI Interfaces, PI Connectors, and OPC Integration.
- Knowledge of Industrial Automation Systems such as SCADA, DCS, PLCs.
- Experience with SQL Server, Database Management, and Data Analytics.
- Hands-on experience in PI System administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols such as OPC DA, OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT.
- Experience with scripting using PowerShell, Python, or C#.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
