We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester QA with strong expertise in Java Selenium and Playwright to drive quality engineering initiatives across enterprise applications The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining robust test automation frameworks ensuring highquality software delivery through comprehensive functional regression integration and endtoend testing
Key Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java Selenium WebDriver and Playwright
Create and execute automated test scripts for web API and endtoend testing
Develop reusable automation components and utilities to improve testing efficiency
Collaborate with Business Analysts Developers Product Owners and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
Perform functional regression smoke integration and crossbrowser testing
Automate API testing using toolsframeworks such as Rest Assured
Integrate automated test suites into CICD pipelines for continuous testing
Analyze test execution results identify defects and work closely with development teams to resolve issues
Ensure adherence to quality standards test coverage and best practices
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and quality reviews
Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices
Required Skills
711 years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
Strong programming experience in Java
Handson expertise with Selenium WebDriver and Playwright automation frameworks
Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks using TestNG JUnit or similar frameworks
Strong knowledge of JavaScriptTypeScript for Playwright automation
Experience in API testing using Rest Assured Postman or similar tools
Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML CSS JavaScript and browser automation
Experience with CICD tools such as Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
Proficiency with Git and version control systems
Strong understanding of SDLC STLC defect lifecycle and AgileScrum methodologies
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
Preferred Skills
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP
Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes and containerized testing environments
Exposure to mobile automation testing using Appium
Knowledge of database testing and SQL queries
Educational Qualification
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field
