HypeSquad Digital Solutions is looking for an Automation Intern to assist with building, testing and maintaining business automation workflows.
The intern will work with the team to understand business processes and help automate repetitive tasks using tools such as n8n, APIs, Google Sheets, CRM platforms and other automation tools.
This role is suitable for someone interested in automation, no-code/low-code tools, APIs and digital business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating and maintaining automation workflows.
- Work with tools such as n8n and other workflow automation platforms.
- Connect different applications using APIs and webhooks.
- Assist with Google Sheets and CRM-based automation.
- Test workflows and identify errors or failed processes.
- Troubleshoot basic workflow and integration issues.
- Help automate repetitive business and marketing tasks.
- Maintain documentation for automation workflows.
- Work with the team to understand business requirements and convert them into simple workflows.
- Monitor existing automations and report issues when they occur.
- Assist with data transfer and processing between different business applications.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of automation and digital tools.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Basic understanding of APIs and webhooks is preferred.
- Logical and problem-solving approach.
- Willingness to learn automation and integration tools.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of data handling and workflows.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of n8n, Zapier, Make or similar automation platforms.
- Basic knowledge of JSON.
- Familiarity with REST APIs.
- Basic understanding of CRM systems.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript or Python is an advantage.
- Experience with Google Workspace tools is an advantage.
Education Students or graduates from Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering, Digital Marketing or related fields can apply.
Relevant practical skills and project experience will also be considered.
