Role & responsibilities

1. Body and General assembly shop M&E; Automation and control system feasibility study, planning, develop specification, technical bid package preparation, bids evaluation, scheduling and schedule monitoring, project execution, and buy off to user, Invoicing & contract closure.
2. Deploy control architecture for Body and General Assembly shop M&Es.;
3. Study of equipment and understand the requirement from shop MEs for design the electrical and controls system
4. Modify and prepare of Controls and Automation standards for next level from one project to next project.
5. Preparation of estimation and submit the budget to program budget and technical review with functional lead.
6. Preparation of scope of requirement , PRs, work with purchase for converting the PO.
7. Technical evaluation of bidders, project scheduling, master dot updating and ensure to implement the electrical and control system as per target.
8. Electrical and Controls drawings review & approvals and ensure the implementation.
9. Measurement checking and sign off, Invoices approvals , System buyoff & contract closure.
10. PLC, HMI, VFD programming & modification for new and existing system in welding
11. Robot programming & modification for Hemming and Welding
12. Identified automation solution to increase the productivity

Implementation of Electrical and Control system for Conveyers system,
14. Support maintenance for critical issues for electrical & control side, PLC, HMI, Robot program modification.

Coordinate the ME function common activities & Business planner updating.

Preferred candidate profile

- SME for Body and press Electrical and Automation & Control
- Hands on experience of PLC, HMI , VFD programming, Robot Programming.
- Competency and hands on experience in Allen Bradley make PLC’s Guard Logix, Control Logix, Compact Logix, Working with other.
- Hands on Experience on Allen Bradley HMI (Panel view series mainly) and Siemens HMI (TP1200 mainly) and Variable frequency drive and Servo drives of new series.
- Hands on experience in PLC software’s (RSlogix 5000 / ), AB HMI software, Siemens HMI software (includes WinCC) .
- Hand on experience on Fanuc make robots for Welding and Gluing application
- Having experience in setting up the Devicenet, Ethernet and open protocol configuration with third party communication.
- Having sound knowledge in selection of electrical control component and design control architecture and budget predation for controls system for old and recent M&E;’s.
- Should have prior experience of executing the similar new program projects.
- Having Maintenance work experience will be additional advantage
