About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible AutoCAD Draftsman to support our Vastu and architectural consultation work.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate AutoCAD drawings, taking measurements at project sites, converting site measurements into professional floor plans, assisting contractors during site visits, and preparing various reports required for Vastu, Numerology and Astrology-based consultations.

This role requires a combination of AutoCAD drafting skills, basic civil/site understanding, computer and internet skills, documentation ability, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate 2D floor plans and architectural drawings using AutoCAD.
- Take detailed measurements at residential and commercial sites.
- Visit sites with the consultant and prepare drawings based on actual site measurements.
- Convert hand sketches/site measurements into accurate AutoCAD floor plans.
- Modify and update drawings based on consultation requirements.
- Assist in identifying and marking directions, zones, rooms, entrances, utilities and other relevant site details on drawings.
- Assist the consultant during site visits and coordinate with contractors whenever required.
- Explain and communicate basic civil work/drawing requirements to contractors as instructed by the consultant.
- Prepare drawings and layouts required for Vastu consultation and analysis.
- Generate different Vastu compliance / analysis reports using AutoCAD and relevant online tools.




- Maintain proper records, drawings, measurements, photographs and project documentation.
- Handle official documentation, internet research, online forms, reports and other computer-based office work.
- Organize project files, drawings and documents systematically.
- Make corrections and revisions quickly according to consultation requirements.
- Travel with the consultant for site inspections, measurements and client visits as required.

Required Skills

Must Have:

- Positive working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Ability to read and prepare floor plans.
- Good understanding of measurements and dimensions.
- Ability to take accurate measurements at construction/residential sites.
- Basic understanding of civil construction and building drawings.
- Good computer skills.
- Comfortable using the Internet, Google search and online tools.
- Good MS Office / Google Workspace skills.
- Ability to prepare and maintain professional documentation.
- Good attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel for site visits.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a consultant/team.

Preferred Skills
- Diploma/ITI/Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
- Previous experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman / Civil Draftsman / Architectural Draftsman.




- Experience with residential floor plans and site measurements.
- Good Hindi and basic English communication skills.

Important Requirement This is not only an AutoCAD desk job. The selected candidate will be required to combine AutoCAD drafting + site measurement + documentation + online research/tools + field assistance.

The candidate should therefore be comfortable with both office work and field/site work.
