Job Summary:

The AutoCAD Engineer / Facade Designer is responsible for preparing detailed facade design drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and construction documentation for architectural facade projects.

Key Responsibility

Design & Drafting

· Prepare detailed 2D and 3D facade drawings using AutoCAD and other design software.

· Develop facade layouts, elevations, sections, and construction details.

· Create shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings.

· Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure design compatibility.

· Modify and update drawings based on project requirements and client feedback.

Engineering & Coordination

· Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

· Assist in developing facade systems

· Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards.

· Support design calculations and material quantity estimations.

Documentation & Quality Control

· Maintain drawing registers and revision control records.

· Ensure all drawings comply with project requirements and company standards.

· Prepare BOQs, material take-offs, and quantity calculations as required.





· Support fabrication and installation teams with technical documentation.

Project Support

· Participate in project meetings and technical discussions.

· Coordinate with production and site teams for drawing clarifications.

· Provide technical support during fabrication and installation stages.

· Coordinate revisions and approvals with stakeholders.

· Assist in value engineering and design optimization initiatives.

· Monitor project schedules and ensure timely submission of drawings.

Required Qualification

· Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

· 2–5 years of experience in facade design, drafting, or engineering.

Technical Skills

· Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).

· Knowledge of facade systems and construction detailing.

· Experience with Autodesk Inventor, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar design software is an advantage.

· Understanding of structural and architectural drawings.

· Knowledge of building codes, facade standards, and engineering practices.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Malad, Mumbai, Maharashtra
