External Audit Confirmation Specialist 3+ Years – Chennai

Summary –

We are looking for professionals with experience in External Audit Confirmation, Cash Banking Operations, Middle Office or Control Functions within financial institutions. The role involves audit responses, reconciliation, trail management, data verification and validation, balance confirmations and certificate preparation and issuance.

Responsibilities –

1. Manage external audit confirmation activities, audit responses, reconciliation and audit trail management.
2. Handle transaction and balance information, confirmation letters and supporting audit trail materials.
3. Prepare and issue balance confirmation certificates to audit firms through Confirmation.com or other tools used by the bank.
4. Review utilisation status of various bank limits and provide confirmations based on bank records.
5. Support cash operations activities involving certificate preparation and issuance, while ensuring data verification, validation and appropriate information security.

Requirements –

1. 3–8 years of relevant experience in External Audit Confirmation and/or Cash Banking Operations.
2. Experience in Operations, Middle Office or Control Departments within financial institutions, including banking, securities or investment management.
3. Experience in audit response, reconciliation, trail management, data verification/validation and audit trackers or workflow management tools.
4. Experience handling balance confirmations, Confirmation.com,



certificate preparation/issuance and information security/data protection; male candidates preferred.
