Manager – Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Operations

Role Purpose

Responsible for managing pharmaceutical sourcing, procurement and commercial coordination for Medinomics, with a focus on identifying reliable manufacturing partners, obtaining competitive commercial terms, and ensuring timely execution of products from enquiry through dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, evaluate and develop pharmaceutical manufacturers and contract manufacturing partners across different dosage forms and therapeutic segments.
- Obtain quotations, compare offers and negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms, lead times and other commercial conditions .

- Develop and maintain a strong and reliable manufacturer/supplier network , including alternate sources for key products.

- Coordinate product enquiries, samples, specifications, packing requirements and commercial finalization .

- Coordinate with manufacturers and internal teams for regulatory dossiers, technical documents, product registration requirements and artwork , wherever applicable.

- Coordinate purchase orders, production schedules, batch requirements and timely order execution .

- Follow up with manufacturers for production, QA/QC documentation, batch release and dispatch readiness.
- Coordinate with Regulatory, QA/QC, Logistics and Finance to ensure smooth execution of orders.
- Maintain product, supplier, quotation, purchase and order-status records and provide regular updates to management .

- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, improved payment terms, better lead times and supply continuity .

- Resolve sourcing, supply and coordination issues proactively and escalate critical matters to management.
- Build strong, professional and long-term relationships with key manufacturing partners.
- Support management in new product sourcing,



manufacturer selection and international business development requirements .

Candidate Profile

- Graduate in Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, Supply Chain or a related field ; B.Pharm preferred

.

- 5–8 years' experience in pharmaceutical sourcing, procurement, contract manufacturing, export operations or commercial coordination.
- Experience in pharmaceutical exports and international markets will be an advantage.

- Good understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and registration documentation for international markets.
- Familiarity with CTD/ACTD dossiers, CPP/CoPP, GMP certificates, manufacturing licenses, product specifications, COA, stability data, DMF/technical documents and other country-specific registration requirements

- Ability to understand the regulatory requirements of different countries and identify manufacturers capable of providing the required documentation.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with Regulatory Affairs, QA/QC and manufacturers for preparation and submission of product registration documents and responses to regulatory queries.
- Strong commercial negotiation, sourcing, communication, follow-up and coordination skills .

- Good understanding of pharmaceutical products, dosage forms, manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
- Robust Excel and analytical skills , with the ability to manage multiple products, manufacturers, countries and timelines simultaneously.

- Proactive, commercially oriented, organized and capable of independent decision-making and problem-solving .

- Ability to balance regulatory suitability, product quality, cost, MOQ, lead time and supply reliability while selecting manufacturing partners.

Key Objective To ensure that Medinomics has the right manufacturing partner, at the right quality, right price and right time, while ensuring smooth coordination from product sourcing to final dispatch.
