Roles
Procurement of Machined items, Precision Machined Items, Fabrication & Sheet Metal Parts, Mechanical Bought outs required for ASRS & other Equipment
Responsibilities
Develop new vendors for machined items, Precision Machined Items, Fabrication & Sheet Metal Parts, Mechanical Bought outs (like Wheels, Shafts, Bearing Blocks, Rope Drums, Sprockets, Conveyor Rollers, Bearings) to meet increasing demand & reduce overall cost.
Prepare cost estimation to support pre-sales team.
Floating RFQ as per the Purchase Requisitions and drawings.
Coordination with Vendors and Engineering team for technical clarifications/ requirements.
Negotiation with vendors, prepare comparison sheet and getting approval on same.
PO placement on successful bidder with required schedule
Follow-up with vendors for on time delivery
Coordination with QA/stores personnel for various documentation.
Co-coordination with accounts for vendor payment
Monitoring actual cost Vs estimation/ budget and schedules Vs receipts.
Authorities
- Finalization of Terms & Conditions, Price negotiations as per company policy
