Role Description

We are looking for an Associate SQL Backend Engineer for a full-time, on-site chance based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.

The role is ideal for fresh graduates, recent graduates, and early-career technology professionals interested in SQL development, backend engineering, database systems, application development, REST APIs, data integration, enterprise applications, and software engineering.

The Associate SQL Backend Engineer will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to develop, maintain, optimize, and support backend applications, relational databases, APIs, data integrations, queries, and digital solutions.

The role may involve working with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, backend programming languages, REST APIs, database design, ETL processes, cloud databases, enterprise applications, reporting systems, and modern backend-development technologies depending on project and business requirements.

Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Freshers and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with 0–2 years of experience in SQL development, backend engineering, database development, software engineering, backend development, application development, data engineering, API development, analytics, or related technology roles can apply.
- Final-year students completing their degree and available for full-time employment may also be considered.




- Candidates currently working as Associate SQL Backend Engineer, Associate Backend Engineer SQL, Junior SQL Backend Engineer, SQL Backend Engineer, SQL Developer, Backend Engineer, Backend Developer, Database Developer, Database Engineer, Software Engineer, Application Developer, Data Engineer, or Associate Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
- Basic to good knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Understanding of SELECT statements, joins, subqueries, aggregations, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, transactions, indexes, constraints, and database relationships.
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SQLite, or similar relational database systems will be beneficial.
- Basic understanding of database design, normalization, schemas, primary keys, foreign keys, referential integrity, relationships, and data modeling.
- Exposure to query optimization, execution plans, indexing strategies, database performance tuning, or troubleshooting will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of backend programming using Python, Java, C#, Node.js, PHP, Go, or similar technologies will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, .NET, Express.js, or similar technologies will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, and system integration.
- Exposure to CRUD operations, database connectivity, backend-to-database integration, data-access layers, or server-side application development will be beneficial.
- Familiarity with ORM technologies such as Hibernate, JPA, SQLAlchemy, Entity Framework, Sequelize, Prisma, or similar tools will be considered an advantage.
- Exposure to MongoDB, Redis,



or other NoSQL databases will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and integration will be considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, debugging, testing, documentation, and collaborative software-development workflows.
- Exposure to Postman, API testing, database testing, integration testing, or automated testing tools will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, cloud databases, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or DevOps tools will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, database connectivity, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts will be beneficial.
- Exposure to microservices, distributed systems, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, or event-driven applications will be considered an additional advantage.
- Familiarity with database security, authentication, authorization, role-based access, backup, recovery, encryption, and data-protection concepts will be beneficial.
- Exposure to data warehouses, data marts, reporting databases, analytics databases, or business-intelligence systems will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, dashboards, or reporting tools will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
- Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into practical backend and database solutions.
- Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
- Internship, SQL project, database project, backend project, API project, data project, GitHub project, academic project, hackathon, freelance project, or startup project will be considered but is not mandatory.
- Candidates without previous full-time backend or SQL development experience can also apply.
- Strong willingness to learn backend technologies, databases, APIs, cloud platforms, data engineering tools, and modern software-development practices.
