We are seeking a Associate to join our architectural design team for a large-scale commercial and mixed-use development comprising a shopping mall, hotel and office buildings.

The role is focused on building architecture, architectural design development and technical design, from concept and schematic design through detailed design and construction documentation. The successful candidate should have substantial experience in an architectural design consultancy, with direct responsibility for the design and delivery of large-scale buildings.

The candidate should be capable of independently handling significant architectural design packages, developing design solutions and coordinating with structural, MEP, façade, landscape, fire and life safety and other specialist consultants.

The role requires strong architectural design, technical design and multidisciplinary coordination skills, together with working knowledge of BIM, Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and the ability to lead architectural design.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead architectural design development for large-scale commercial and mixed-use buildings.
- Develop and review building plans, sections, elevations, floor plates, cores, vertical circulation, BOH, service areas and façade/building envelope strategies.
- Develop and evaluate architectural design options and resolve building planning and design issues.
- Take ownership of architectural packages from concept and schematic design through detailed design and construction documentation.




- Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, fire and life safety, façade, landscape, and specialist consultants.
- Review architectural drawings, models and technical documentation for design quality, coordination, constructability, and compliance.
- Resolve architectural and technical issues with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Maintain architectural design intent throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with the BIM team to develop, review and coordinate architectural Revit models and BIM deliverables.
- Provide design and technical guidance to architects and project teams.
- Monitor architectural deliverables, design coordination and programme requirements.

Candidate Profile
- B.Arch / M.Arch from a recognized institution.
- 9-15 years of professional architectural experience.
- Substantial experience in an architectural design consultancy.
- Proven experience in the design and delivery of large-scale commercial, mixed-use, office, hotel or shopping mall buildings.
- Strong understanding of commercial architecture, building architecture and base-building design.
- Experience in architectural design development, detailed design and construction documentation.
- Solid understanding of structural, MEP, façade, fire and life safety and building-service interfaces.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants.
- Positive working knowledge of Revit, BIM coordination and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Strong architectural design, technical design, communication, consultant coordination and design leadership skills.
