We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Associate QA Engineer with hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Automation Testing using Cypress to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs
Design and execute functional, regression, sanity, and smoke test cases
Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Cypress
Perform API testing using tools like Postman
Identify, track, and verify defects using JIRA or similar tools
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
Prepare test reports and quality metrics
Support UAT and production verification activities
Required Skills:
1.5 - 2 years of experience in QA/Web Application Testing
Solid knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Hands-on experience in Manual & Automation Testing
Experience with Cypress Automation Framework
Strong understanding of REST APIs and API Testing
Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA
Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Good to Have:
Experience with Git or other version control systems
Basic understanding of Performance, Stress, and Security Testing
