Position Overview

Lingaya's Vidyapeeth invites applications from dynamic and accomplished academicians for the position of Professor / Associate Professor in the School of Law. The selected candidate will contribute significantly to teaching, research, curriculum development, academic administration, and mentoring of students and research scholars. The incumbent is expected to strengthen the University's research ecosystem through quality publications, funded research, and doctoral supervision.

Key Responsibilities

A. Teaching & Academic Excellence

- Teach undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in Law.
- Develop and deliver innovative, outcome-based curriculum in accordance with UGC, BCI, NEP guidelines.
- Employ contemporary teaching methodologies, case-based learning, technology-enabled instruction, and experiential learning practices.
- Organize moot courts, legal aid clinics, mediation exercises, and simulation-based learning.
- Prepare course plans, teaching materials, assessments, and evaluation reports.

B. Research & Doctoral Guidance
- Guide and supervise research scholars
- Publish research papers in Scopus-indexed, UGC-CARE-listed journals.
- Undertake funded research projects,



consultancy assignments, and interdisciplinary research.
- Mentor junior faculty members and promote research culture within the department.
- Contribute to curriculum development, policy research, legal reforms, and academic publications.
- Participate in national and international conferences, seminars, FDPs, and workshops.

C. Quality Assurance & Institutional Development
- Contribute to NAAC, NIRF, UGC, and BCI compliance activities.
- Participate in curriculum revision, programme assessment, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Support institutional ranking, accreditation, and quality enhancement efforts

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

- Ph.D. in Law is mandatory and must have been awarded at least three (04) years prior to the date of application
- LLB/ LL.M. from a recognized University.
- Qualifications shall be in accordance with the latest UGC Regulations and applicable Bar Council of India (BCI) norms.

Experience

Professor/ Associate Professor

- Minimum 10 years of teaching, research, and/or academic experience from recognized institutions of higher education.
- Must possess the eligibility to guide and supervise Ph.D. research scholars.
- Experience in curriculum development, academic administration, and research supervision will be preferred.

Desirable Skills & Competencies:
- Strong academic and research orientation.
- Thorough knowledge of UGC, BCI, NEP, NAAC, and NIRF frameworks.
- Excellent teaching, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Ability to supervise doctoral research and promote interdisciplinary research.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and administrative abilities.
- Commitment to innovation, academic excellence, ethics, and student-centric education.
- Industry, judiciary, and institutional networking capabilities will be an added advantage.
