1. Associate Professor – Physiotherapy

Qualification & Experience:

M.P.T. / M.P.Th. / M.Sc. (Physiotherapy) in one of the relevant specializations:

- Musculoskeletal / Sports
- Cardiopulmonary
- Neurology
- Minimum 5 years of total teaching experience as an Assistant Professor.
- Ph.D. in any discipline of Physiotherapy, recognized by UGC.
- 5 Research publications as per institutional requirements.

2. Assistant Professor – Physiotherapy

Qualification & Experience:

M.P.T. / M.P.Th. / M.Sc. (Physiotherapy) in:

- Musculoskeletal
- Sports
- Cardiopulmonary
- Neurology
- Minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever a grading system is followed, from a recognized university.
- 2 Research publications as per institutional requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, demonstrations and clinical teaching in the relevant area of Physiotherapy specialization.
- Plan and implement effective teaching-learning methodologies and prepare course materials.




- Provide academic, clinical and skilled guidance and mentorship to students.
- Supervise students during clinical postings, practical training and patient-care activities.
- Conduct and assist in student assessments, practical examinations and academic evaluations.
- Participate in curriculum development, course planning and periodic updating of teaching content.
- Engage in research activities, scholarly publications, conferences, seminars and workshops.
- Guide and support students in research projects, dissertations and academic activities, as applicable.
- Maintain academic records, course documentation, student performance records and other departmental documentation.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, institutional committees and academic initiatives.
- Contribute to quality improvement, accreditation-related activities and the overall development of the department.
- Promote evidence-based physiotherapy education, clinical practice and professional development.
- Develop academic and professional collaborations and contribute to the growth and visibility of the department.
