About SBNRI

35 million NRIs are trying to manage their money from thousands of miles away, and most of them don't trust anyone enough to help. SBNRI is building the company that changes that. We help NRIs in 120+ countries invest and manage money in India: mutual funds, fixed deposits, taxation, compliance, and repatriation.

The role

You'll own real product problems end to end: figure out what's broken, work out why, ship the fix with Engineering and Design, and measure whether it worked. You'll report to the Head of Product and work closely with Engineering, Design, Growth, Operations, and leadership.

Problems like the ones you'll work on:

- Why does an NRI in Dubai start onboarding and not finish?
- What makes an investor redeem, and what could have kept them?
- Which manual workflows should AI be running instead of people?

What you'll do

- Define winning before you build: Every initiative starts with a success metric. If you can't say what "this worked" looks like in numbers, it isn't ready.
- Execution: Write clear requirements, drive delivery with Engineering and Design, clear blockers, and close the loop. A task is yours until the outcome is delivered, not until you hand it off.
- Analytics: Track funnels, adoption, and conversion. Judge features by whether they move the business, not by whether they shipped.
- Talk to users every week: Have direct conversations with NRIs across geographies. Dashboards and CS summaries don't replace them. Support tickets and payment failures are requirements we missed, and you'll help trace them to root cause.
- AI and automation: Use AI tools daily to research, prototype, and automate. If something is repetitive, your first question should be "why isn't this automated?"
- Experimentation: Frame hypotheses,



define success metrics, and read results honestly, including when an experiment fails.

What we look for

You don't need PM experience. We look for evidence of how you think and build:

- A product project: a college project, app, website, or prototype you took from idea to something usable
- Analytical thinking: the ability to take apart a product, find a real user problem, and back your fix with reasoning or data
- AI fluency: practical use of AI tools to research, prototype, or automate something real
- Ownership: a clear example of something you drove to completion, especially when it got hard

How we work

Your work will be challenged, and not in quarterly reviews. It happens in the moment, by the person next to you. A design gets torn apart because an NRI in Dubai would find it confusing. A feature gets sent back because it solves our problem, not the user's. That isn't conflict; it's how craft works when people care.

We don't optimize for comfort. We optimize for the NRI in San Jose at 11pm, trying to figure out if their money in India is secure. That person deserves our best thinking, our fastest execution, and our most obsessive attention to detail.
