Team: Product, Onsurity Engineering The Role

We're hiring an Associate Product Manager to own well-scoped features end to end,

with guidance from senior PMs. This isn't a coordination role — you'll talk to members,

look at the data, write the spec, argue for it in review, and stay with the feature after it ships. The problems you'll work on sit close to things that matter: a member's claim,

their teleconsultation, their premium. Small features here have real consequences, and we want someone who feels that.

You'll report to a Senior/Group PM and work daily with engineering, design, and data.

What You'll Do

● Own a feature or small product area end to end — discovery through launch and iteration

● Write PRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria clear enough that engineering doesn't need to guess

● Talk to members directly: interviews, surveys, usability sessions — and bring back what you actually heard, not what you expected to hear

● Read your own data — funnels, retention, adoption — and use it to make and defend decisions

● Sit in sprint planning, standups and reviews as a working partner to design and engineering, not a status-taker

● Track competitors and the healthcare-benefits market, and turn it into something the team can act on

● Coordinate launches with marketing, sales and support

● Triage feedback and bugs and push them to resolution





● Report progress and risk to stakeholders without needing to be asked

What We're Looking For

Required

● 0–2 years in product, business analysis, consulting, engineering or similar

(internships count)

● Bachelor's degree in any discipline

● Comfort with data — SQL, Excel/Sheets, or Mixpanel/Amplitude/GA

● Explicit written and verbal communication

● Structured problem-solving on ambiguous problems

● Genuine curiosity about users and how products actually work

● Ability to get things done cross-functionally without formal authority

● Comfortable using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) daily for research, writing and analysis — you know how to prompt well and how to check the output

Nice to have

● Basic grasp of software development and Agile/Scrum

● Jira, Figma, Notion or Confluence

● Exposure to A/B testing

● A side project or case study that shows how you think about product

● Fintech, insurtech or healthtech exposure

How We Work

High ownership. Fast, but not reckless. Direct and low-ego — disagree in the review,

not after. You find the next useful thing to do without being told, and you say clearlywhen something's off track.

This Role Isn't for You If

You want a fully-specified ticket queue instead of an ambiguous problem. You'd rather hand a feature off at launch than watch what happens to it after. You're not interested in talking to members directly.
