About the Role
Were looking for an Associate Growth Product Manager to work on driving user growth across both product and acquisition funnels.
The role sits at the intersection of Growth, Product, Performance Marketing, Data and Technology. You will analyse user journeys, identify growth opportunities, run experiments, and work closely with product, design and engineering teams to implement initiatives that improve acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and monetisation.
The role requires a good understanding of performance marketing and paid acquisition, including campaign economics, budget allocation and optimisation. Candidates with a performance marketing or growth marketing background who are looking to move deeper into product-led growth are welcome.
What Were Looking For
- 1 - 4 years of experience in Growth, Performance Marketing, Product Management, Growth Product or a similar role in a consumer technology company.
- Valuable understanding of performance marketing and paid user acquisition, particularly Meta and/or Google.
- Experience or working knowledge of campaign budgeting, spend allocation and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of consumer app funnels and growth metrics.
- Ability to analyse data, identify problems and convert insights into actionable growth hypotheses.
- Understanding of experimentation and A/B testing.
- Comfortable working across Growth, Product, Engineering, Design and Analytics teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach.
Key Responsibilities Growth Funnel & Product Initiatives
- Analyse user journeys across acquisition, activation, engagement, retention and monetisation.
- Identify funnel drop-offs,
user friction and opportunities for growth.
- Develop hypotheses and product interventions to improve key growth metrics.
- Work on growth levers such as onboarding, activation journeys, referrals, notifications, re-engagement, paywalls, offers and conversion flows.
- Identify new features and product opportunities that can contribute to user and revenue growth.
Experimentation & Optimisation
- Build and maintain a pipeline of growth experiments across product and acquisition funnels.
- Design A/B tests with clearly defined hypotheses, target cohorts and success metrics.
- Analyse experiment performance and recommend whether initiatives should be scaled, iterated or discontinued.
- Develop a robust understanding of how different user cohorts behave after acquisition.
Performance Marketing & Acquisition
- Understand campaign structures and performance across platforms such as Meta and Google.
- Analyse acquisition metrics including CAC/CPI, conversion rates, ROAS, retention and LTV.
- Understand budget allocation across campaigns, channels, audiences and objectives and evaluate whether spends are being deployed efficiently.
- Work with the performance marketing team on identifying opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency and user quality.
- Analyse the relationship between campaign optimisation,
acquisition source and downstream product behaviour.
- Understand attribution, conversion events and optimisation signals required by advertising platforms.
- Support decisions around scaling, budget allocation and channel/campaign mix through data analysis.
Product & Tech Execution
- Translate growth opportunities into clear product requirements, user journeys and experiment briefs.
- Work closely with Product, Design, Engineering and Analytics teams to implement growth initiatives.
- Ensure appropriate events, attribution and analytics are implemented to measure impact.
- Coordinate execution, QA, rollout and post-launch analysis of experiments.
Data & Growth Insights
- Conduct funnel, cohort, retention and conversion analysis.
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks for key growth metrics.
- Identify patterns across acquisition sources, campaigns, user segments and product behaviour.
- Combine performance marketing data, product analytics and user insights to identify growth opportunities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing or working closely with meaningful performance marketing budgets.
- Performance marketing candidates should have hands-on experience with campaign management, optimisation and budget allocation.
- Experience with consumer mobile apps and app-install/user-acquisition campaigns.
- Understanding of attribution and measurement platforms such as AppsFlyer, Firebase or similar tools.
- Familiarity with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude.
- Experience working on subscription, content, social, entertainment, news or other high-frequency consumer products is a plus.
