We’re hiring for a Material Planning role in the Aviation/MRO sector, focused on material forecasting, inventory control, aircraft spares, and AOG requirements. The role involves coordinating with procurement, vendors, and maintenance teams to ensure timely material availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Material forecasting, planning, and inventory control.




- Ensure timely availability of aircraft materials for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Planning and coordination of aircraft spares, BFE, IFE, rotables, and tooling.
- Manage reorder points, EOQ, service levels and inventory parameters.
- Handle AOG (Aircraft on Ground) material requirements and urgent material coordination.
- Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for material availability, delivery, and requirements.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, maintenance, and other internal teams.
- Manage and monitor stock/inventory levels, including surplus and slow-moving materials.
- Support material forecasting and demand planning.
- Experience with ERP software for material planning/inventory management.
- Support alternate parts, class change requests, and planning documentation.

Eligibility

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Relevant experience in aviation, airlines, MRO, material planning, aircraft parts procurement or aviation inventory management as per the position.
- Hands-on experience in ERP software, AOG handling, vendor coordination, team coordination, stock/inventory management and material forecasting is preferred.
- Regular/full-time degree required.
