Key Responsibilities

- Departmental Correspondence & Appeals
- Respond to notices from GST departments.
- Prepare and file appeals effectively, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

- Manage and execute GST return filings efficiently.
- Process GST refund claims and address related queries.
- Audit Representation
- Represent the organization during GST department audits.
- Ensure accurate and compliant reporting during audits.
- Thought Leadership
- Write articles and blogs on GST to showcase expertise and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Proficiency in Advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Expertise in Tally for GST accounting.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT for drafting content and insights.
- Experience with Power BI or similar tools for data visualization and reporting

We are looking for a GST Executive with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in managing GST compliances, preferably for large corporate clients. The ideal candidate should have strong execution skills, valuable working knowledge of GST law, and proficiency in Excel

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage end-to-end GST compliances for large clients, including preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, GSTR 1A and other applicable returns.
- Perform ITC reconciliations, including purchase register vs. GSTR-2B reconciliation and identification/follow-up of mismatches.
- Undertake turnover, tax liability and other GST reconciliations and ensure timely closure of compliance activities.
- Assist with annual GST compliances, including GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C.
- Review client data, identify gaps and coordinate with client teams for timely resolution.
- Possess a working knowledge of GST law, including input tax credit, place of supply, time of supply, reverse charge, e-invoicing and e-way bill provisions.
- Assist seniors with responses to GST notices, departmental queries and basic advisory matters.
- Track GST updates and evaluate their impact on ongoing client compliances.
- Manage multiple clients and compliance deadlines independently while maintaining accuracy and quality of deliverables.

Skills & Experience

- Prior experience in handling large corporate clients and high-volume GST data.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS and data reconciliation.
- Good understanding of GST compliance processes and basic GST law.
- Exposure to GST compliance/reconciliation tools would be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, ownership of deliverables and ability to work within tight timelines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
