Position description:

To ensure smooth functioning and running of the Boiler with designed Parameters.

To maintain Boiler & Its related Mountings / Fittings in Operational & Healthy Condition.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Responsible for All Boiler , CHP,DM,Turbine Operation & Maintenance during shift
- To supervise & delegate Jobs to field operators, Fireman, Helpers to maintain all Boilers
- Physical round in Boiler House after shift taken over and observe abnormalities if any
- To check trends in DCS panel of critical parameters
- Ensure safety by monitoring safety equipment, identifying potential issues and taking appropriate steps to suspend operations and repair the problem
- To Maintain & operate all Boiler efficiently within operating norms
- To Maintain 33 TPH FBC boiler through DCS panel
- Logging of all critical readings in Logbook
- Constantly inspect water, gas, and other fluid levels inside boilers and related equipment, making adjustments to fluids as necessary to keep systems operating at peak levels
- To Maintain steam pressure as per load demand from process
- To Monitor & Maintain all deaerator parameters within specified range
- To Monitor & Maintain all water quality parameters within specified range
- To Monitor Condensate return & DM water consumption
- To Monitor chemical stock for Boiler
- To Monitor DM water quality
- To Monitor Bed Material stock for Boiler
- To monitor compressor for Boiler within specified range
- To maintain ash handling system in the boiler area
- To maintain ESP system in boiler area
- To carry out cleaning activities in boiler & prepare boiler for annual shutdown passing




- To carry out deaerator cleaning in annual shutdown passing
- To Monitor & Maintain Steam Trap & its functionality operating in Boiler area & steam Header
- To Monitor & maintain operation of CHP plant
- To Carry out TPM activities
- Repair Boiler related valves, Gauges, Gauge Glass and other boiler parts as needed.
- To Maintain various records and reports relative to steam plant operations
- Supervise team of assistant operators and mechanics by delegating repair, maintenance and monitoring tasks, scheduling jobs, providing appropriate instruction and giving constructive feedback
- Observes boiler and auxiliary units to detect malfunctions and makes repairs, such as changing burners and tightening pipes and fittings.
- Operate valves and adjusts controls to set specified fuel feed, draft openings, water level, and steam pressure of boiler.
- Manage the boiler and other related machinery, ensuring it is functional and secure at all times
- Reporting of any abnormalities/operational deviations immediately to Reporting Manager
- To maintain inventory for boiler
- To maintain daily reports for Steam generation.
- Execution Of PM,BD,SD maintenance notification & orders through SAP
- To Monitor & maintain predictive maintenance of all Boiler critical equipment
- Prepare Monthly reports for boiler utilities
- To maintain ISO & RC documentation
- To schedule & implement shut down activities as per plan & Time line
- Measurement of fabrication bills & service bill clearance from SAP
- Maintaining equipment History
- Documentation of all the operation & maintenance records and preparing monthly maintenance reports

Educational qualifications preferred

- Category: Bachelor's Degree
- Field specialization: Mechanical Engineering, Boiler Operating Engineer
- Degree: Engineers Degree

Required Knowledge:

- Sound knowledge of boiler operations
- Knowledge of boiler Safety
- Alertness
