We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager Administration & Facilities (Electrical Engineering) to oversee the technical facility operations at our SKAN Research Trust site in Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical engineering and hands-on experience managing engineering infrastructure, preventive maintenance, and hard services across high-rise commercial buildings, hospitals, healthcare facilities, technology parks, or R&D; laboratories.

The role requires expertise in managing critical electrical and MEP systems, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Engineering & Technical Facility Management

- Oversee the complete engineering and technical infrastructure of the facility, including HVAC, MEP, chillers, DG sets, HT/LT systems, UPS, and other critical equipment.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all electrical and mechanical systems supporting the facility.
- Manage hard services and technical facility operations to ensure uninterrupted business and research activities.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure compliance with applicable safety and operational standards.
- Coordinate with security to ensure proper placement and storage of temparture sensitive items and intimation to respective stakeholder

2. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
- Develop and implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules for all critical engineering equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and coordinate timely corrective and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure proper maintenance of HT/LT panels, electrical systems, UPS, DG sets, chillers, HVAC, and Fire & Life Safety (FLS) systems.
- Maintain equipment maintenance records,



service reports, and technical documentation.

3. AMC & Vendor Management
- Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for critical equipment and technical services.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
- Monitor vendor performance, service-level agreements, and maintenance schedules.
- Support vendor evaluation, cost optimization, and contract renewals.

4. Electrical & MEP Operations
- Oversee electrical infrastructure, including HT/LT systems, power distribution, UPS, and DG sets.
- Ensure effective functioning of HVAC, chillers, MEP systems, and other critical utilities.
- Monitor electrical load management, energy consumption, and equipment efficiency.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of Fire & Life Safety (FLS) systems.
- Coordinate technical inspections, equipment testing, and statutory compliance activities.

5. Facility Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and facility operating procedures.
- Maintain technical records, maintenance logs, equipment documentation, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate technical audits, safety inspections, and corrective actions.
- Identify potential operational risks and implement preventive measures.

6. Stakeholder & Team Coordination
- Coordinate with internal administration,



facility management, engineering, and other functional teams.
- Supervise facility technicians and external service providers.
- Ensure timely resolution of technical issues and maintain uninterrupted facility operations.
- Prepare periodic reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and facility operations.
- Daily Supervision: Create duty rosters, monitor attendance, and assign daily tasks to support personnel.
- Language proficiency - Fluent in English, Kannada and Hindi

Educational Qualification
- Mandatory: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
- Candidates with a technical facilities management background are preferred.

Experience Required
- 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Administration, Facilities Management, or Technical Facility Operations.
- Solid hands-on experience in electrical engineering and hard services management.
- Experience working in high-rise commercial buildings, hospitals, healthcare facilities, technology parks, or R&D; laboratories.

- Experience in AMC management, vendor coordination, and critical equipment maintenance.
- Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills.
