About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Associate Lead – COD & Reconciliation to join our Chennai Hub. The role will be responsible for managing and monitoring Cash on Delivery (COD) reconciliation, payment settlements, exception management, and operational coordination to ensure accurate and timely financial closure.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, good knowledge of reconciliation processes, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day COD reconciliation across shipments, collections, deposits, and settlements.
- Reconcile COD collections with operational and financial records and identify discrepancies.
- Track and resolve shortages, excess collections, pending settlements, and other reconciliation exceptions.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, banking/payment teams, and other stakeholders to close reconciliation gaps.
- Maintain accurate reconciliation trackers and ensure timely updating of MIS and reports.
- Monitor outstanding COD amounts and follow up for timely closure.
- Perform transaction-level checks and investigate mismatches between system data, collection reports, and bank statements.
- Support daily/weekly/monthly reconciliation and financial closure activities.
- Prepare regular reports on reconciliation status,



pending items, ageing, and exceptions.
- Identify recurring issues and support process improvements to reduce reconciliation gaps.
- Ensure adherence to defined SOPs, controls, and audit requirements.
- Assist in documentation and provide data/support for internal and external audits.
- Take ownership of assigned processes and ensure timely resolution of escalations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 1+ years of experience in COD reconciliation, finance operations, accounts, settlements, or a similar role.
- Graduate degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Good understanding of reconciliation, settlements, collections, and basic accounting concepts.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel; familiarity with Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filters, and basic formulas is preferred.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within tight timelines.
- Experience in e-commerce, logistics, delivery, fintech, or payments will be an added advantage.
