What we are looking for

We're looking for an Associate Analyst to join our Information & Delivery team. This role sits at the intersection of operations, data, and technology, supporting our data acquisition platform and helping ensure smooth and accurate data retrieval.

You'll work with web-based systems, troubleshoot authentication challenges, analyze data using SQL, write lightweight automation scripts in Node.js, and support both manual and automated operational workflows.

Some data acquisition processes require manual intervention, while others are automated. You'll support both workflows — performing manual retrievals, monitoring automated processes, investigating failures, and working with Engineering to identify opportunities for automation.

This role is ideal for someone at the early stage of their career who enjoys solving problems, working with data, exploring how websites and systems work, and learning new technical skills.

What you’ll be doing

Data Acquisition & Manual Retrieval

- Perform manual data retrieval using internal web scraping tools and web-based systems.
- Follow defined workflows to retrieve consumer-permissioned data accurately and completely.
- Monitor automated retrieval jobs and assist with manual retrieval when required.
- Work with different authentication methods such as MFA, OTP, CAPTCHA, security questions, and credentials.
- Investigate basic retrieval issues and escalate technical problems to Engineering when required.

Data Source Management

- Assist in adding and configuring new data sources within the internal platform.




- Identify and troubleshoot basic login, accessibility, and connectivity issues across websites.
- Maintain documentation for data sources and operational processes.

Document Processing & Quality Assurance

- Classify, categorize, and tag retrieved documents using internal tools.
- Perform quality checks to ensure data is accurate, complete, and consistent.
- Assist in creating, testing, and validating JSON parsers for different document formats.
- Investigate document-processing and parser failures and work with the team to resolve them.
- Monitor automated document-processing workflows.

Technical Operations

- Use SQL to extract and validate data and investigate operational issues.
- Write or modify straightforward Node.js scripts for basic automation and web-based workflows.
- Support both manual and automated operational processes.
- Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to improve workflows and increase automation.

Security & Compliance

- Follow defined security and authentication procedures while handling data sources.
- Assist with periodic checks of credentials and authentication workflows.
- Identify and report access-related or security concerns.
- Follow internal security, privacy, and operational standards.

Skills you need in order to succeed in this role.

- 0–6 months of experience in Technical Operations, Data Operations, Information & Operations, or a similar role. Freshers with relevant technical exposure/projects may also be considered.
- Basic understanding of SQL.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript/Node.js is preferred.
- Comfortable working with web-based systems and learning new tools.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Good attention to detail and focus on data accuracy.
- Curiosity to understand how things work and willingness to troubleshoot issues independently.
- Good communication and ability to work collaboratively with Engineering and Product teams.
- Comfortable working in a 24×7 rotational shift environment.
- Willingness to learn and work in a rapid-paced, technology-driven environment.
