Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Spatial Design Lead to drive the design, governance, and delivery of Treasures flagship, affluent, retail and workplace projects across India. This role will serve as the key liaison between regional design standards and local business requirements, ensuring that all projects deliver exceptional user experiences while aligning with corporate brand, workplace, and spatial design guidelines.

The successful candidate will lead end-to-end design management, collaborate with country and regional stakeholders& regional spatial design lead to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget

Key Accountabilities

Design Leadership & Governance

- Act as the design authority for retail and commercial projects across India, ensuring alignment with global design standards, workplace strategies, and brand guidelines.
- Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders to communicate global design guidelines, understand Job Functional Framework (JFF) requirements, and translate business needs into effective spatial design solutions.
- Develop and review design briefs, ensuring project objectives,



user requirements, operational needs, and brand standards are clearly defined.
- Collaborate with the regional spatial design management team to review, refine, and approve design concepts before stakeholder presentations.
- Lead design governance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality assurance.
- Conceptualize and present concept designs, layouts, detailed drawings, 3D visualizations, and design documentation.

Stakeholder & Client Engagement

- Build solid relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, and functional stakeholders.
- Present design concepts, solutions, project updates, and final recommendations to senior stakeholders for review and approval.
- Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and coordination meetings with leadership teams to align project goals and design outcomes.
- Translate stakeholder feedback into actionable design improvements while maintaining design integrity and project objectives.

Procurement & Commercial Management

- Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on approved designs and project requirements.
- Support the tendering process by developing tender documentation and evaluating contractor and vendor submissions.
- Collaborate with GPS and country/local CRESA teams during contractor and supplier selection.

Quality Assurance & Site Oversight

- Review and approve material samples, finishes, mock-ups, and prototypes to ensure compliance with approved design concepts and global standards.
- Monitor site execution quality and ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction and fit-out activities.
- Conduct periodic site inspections and reviews to evaluate progress, quality, and compliance.

Education / Preferred Qualifications

Graduate / Post Graduate in relevant field.
