Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Supervisor – Stores & Inventory to join our Electric Vehicle (EV) assembly facility. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day material receipt, binning, inventory accuracy, and timely line feeding of critical EV components (battery packs, motors, wiring harnesses, controllers, chassis) to keep assembly running smoothly without production downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Material Inward & Inspection: Verify incoming consignments against Invoices, Delivery Challans, and POs; coordinate with Quality/PDI for inward inspection and GRN generation.
- Line Feeding & Kitting: Kit and stage parts to the EV assembly line based on the production plan; strictly implement FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and lot traceability.
- Shortage Monitoring: Track line shortages proactively and coordinate with PPC to prevent assembly halts.
- Inventory Control & 5S: Conduct regular physical cycle counts, reconcile stock against system records, and maintain clean, well-labeled bin locations adhering to 5S norms.




- EV Component Care: Follow safe handling and storage protocols for sensitive electrical parts and lithium battery assemblies.
- Documentation & ERP: Manage daily inward/outward registers, Gate Passes (RGP/NRGP), and post store transactions in inventory software and MS Excel.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile Engineering, or Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, B.Sc, Logistics).
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in store operations, inventory handling, or warehouse management.
- Industry Preference: Automobile, 2-Wheeler / 3-Wheeler, Electric Vehicle (EV), or Auto-ancillary manufacturing plants.

Skills:

- Proficiency in MS Excel and store ERP/inventory software.
- Valuable understanding of auto components, part numbers, and batch tracking.
- Strong shop-floor coordination and physical count accuracy.
