Job Summary

We are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager – Hotel / Hospitality to support the sales team in driving revenue through corporate sales, room bookings, group reservations, and banquet business. The role involves developing client relationships, generating new business, assisting in sales strategies, and achieving assigned targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Generate business through corporate clients, travel agents, event planners, and other business partners.
- Handle room bookings, group reservations, and banquet/event sales.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct sales calls, client visits, site inspections, and meetings.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and assist with pricing negotiations.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, F&B;, Banquets, and other operations teams for smooth event execution.




- Identify new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Maintain sales reports, client records, and MIS documentation.
- Assist the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and annual revenue targets.

Skills & Requirements
- Experience in hotel sales, corporate sales, or the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to generate new business and work towards sales targets.
- Knowledge of the local market and client network is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and sales calls.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Important: Prior experience in the hotel/hospitality industry is required.
