Position: Assistant Professor — Medical Oncology (Ramaiah Medical College)

Description of the job:

- Provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with solid tumours and hematological malignancies
- Evaluate patients and formulate individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Administer and supervise systemic anticancer treatments, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormonal therapy
- Manage treatment-related toxicities, oncological emergencies and supportive-care needs
- Participate in the management of patients undergoing autologous and allogeneic bone marrow transplantation (BMT)
- Perform transplant evaluation, pre-transplant work-up and donor assessment as appropriate
- Manage patients through the conditioning, transplantation and post-transplant phases, including transplant-related complications
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumour boards and collaborate with surgical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, radiology,



critical care and other specialties
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols, treatment pathways and quality-improvement initiatives
- Maintain high standards of clinical documentation, patient safety and evidence-based practice
- Participate in teaching and training of residents, fellows, nurses and allied healthcare professionals
- Contribute to clinical research, academic presentations, publications and conferences
- Participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits and other academic activities
- Contribute to the continued development and expansion of the Medical Oncology and BMT program

Qualifications: DM/DNB Medical Oncology Work Experience required: 3 years DM or DNB in Medical Oncology
