Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor in M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, based at CT Group of Institutions in Jalandhar I.

The Assistant

Professor will deliver lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions in advanced CSE subjects, ensuring alignment with the curriculum and academic standards.

Responsibilities include designing course materials, preparing assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing academic mentoring and guidance. The role involves contributing to research activities, publishing scholarly work, participating in departmental projects, and supporting accreditation and quality assurance processes.

The Assistant

Professor will also engage in academic administration, attend faculty meetings, support student activities,



and collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and industry-oriented initiatives.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree (M.Tech/M.E) in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution; Ph.D. in CSE or pursuing Ph.D. is preferred.
- Strong foundation in core and advanced CSE domains such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, computer networks, databases, software engineering, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, ML, cloud computing).
- Demonstrated teaching aptitude, including experience with lecture delivery, lab supervision, curriculum planning, and innovative pedagogy (e.g., project-based learning, blended learning).
- Ability to engage in research, publish in reputable journals/conferences, and contribute to funded projects or collaborative academic-industry initiatives.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and tools commonly used in postgraduate CSE programs, along with familiarity with modern learning management systems and educational technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support diverse learners and maintain an inclusive classroom setting.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, including timely evaluation of student work and effective coordination of academic activities.
- Commitment to continuous professional development, ethical academic practices, and alignment with institutional policies and accreditation standards.
