Role Description The Assistant Professor (IT) will deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials in information technology and related subjects, ensuring alignment with the institute’s academic standards and program outcomes.

Responsibilities include designing and updating course materials, developing assessments, evaluating student performance, and providing constructive feedback to foster academic growth. The role involves guiding student projects, participating in curriculum development, and integrating industry trends and emerging technologies into teaching.





The Assistant

Professor will engage in academic advising, contribute to departmental initiatives, attend faculty meetings, and support accreditation and quality assurance activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, requiring regular presence on campus for teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with colleagues and industry partners.

Qualifications

- Solid knowledge in core IT domains such as programming, databases, networking, software engineering, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated ability in curriculum design, instructional planning, and use of modern teaching-learning methodologies and educational technologies.
- Skills in academic research, data analysis, and scholarly writing, with an interest in publishing and participating in conferences or seminars.
- Proficiency in student mentoring, classroom management, and fostering an inclusive, engaging learning environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly.
- Relevant postgraduate degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline; higher qualifications (such as Ph.D.) are an advantage.
- Familiarity with industry practices, collaborations, and the ability to integrate practical case studies and projects into courses.
