Assistant Professor Digital Forensics & Information Security (Immediate Joining)

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor in Digital Forensics & Information Security to teach exclusively undergraduate and postgraduate students specializing in Digital Forensics & Information Security. The ideal candidate will join immediately and contribute to advanced academic and research excellence.

Role Overview The successful candidate will deliver advanced, industry-aligned instruction, lead applied research, and mentor postgraduate students preparing for specialized information security and digital forensics careers.

Key Responsibilities

Teach advanced postgraduate courses in information security, cybersecurity, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cyber defense, and threat intelligence.

Supervise postgraduate research, dissertations, and applied industry projects. Conduct and publish high-impact research in emerging cybersecurity and digital forensics areas. Contribute to curriculum enhancement, lab development, and accreditation processes.

Conduct hands-on labs using advanced tools such as:

- Cyber Ranges:



IBM Cyber Range, Cyberbit, RangeForce
- Forensic Suites: EnCase, FTK, Magnet Axiom, Autopsy
- Threat Detection & Analysis: Splunk, ELK/Elastic Stack, CrowdStrike Falcon, Mandiant
- Offensive Security Tools: Kali Linux, Burp Suite Pro, Metasploit, Nmap

Preferred candidate profile

- Canditate must have Post Graduate Degree in Information Security or Digital Forensics with 1 or 2 Years experience in teaching. Canditates with Master Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology can also apply if they have specialized in Digital Forensics and Information Security.
- Strong hands-on expertise with advanced information security and digital forensic tools.
- Active research profile with robust publications.
- Relevant professional certifications (CEH, CHFI, GCFA, OSCP, GCIA, CISSP) preferred.
- Excellent postgraduate teaching, research supervision, and academic leadership skills.
- Must be available to join immediately.
