About the Role : We are seeking a passionate and experienced academic leader for the role of Assistant Professor – Computer Networks and Computer Architecture The ideal candidate should possess expertise in one or more areas, including Systems Programming, Computer Networks, Computer Architecture and Software Infrastructure, with a strong passion for teaching, mentoring, and academic innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate students across Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Digital Systems, VLSI/RTL, and related core CS and systems subjects.
- Deliver engaging classroom lectures, lab sessions, workshops, and project-based learning activities.
- Build strong conceptual foundations while connecting hardware, software, systems, and networking concepts with real-world engineering applications.
- Design and enhance curriculum, assignments, assessments, lab exercises, and hands-on learning experiences aligned with industry standards.
- Develop and mentor hands-on projects involving computer networks, system architecture, Linux/Unix systems, digital design, VLSI, RTL, embedded systems, and hardware-software integration.
- Guide students in network troubleshooting, system design, CPU and memory architecture, digital logic, RTL design, operating systems, and performance optimization.
- Mentor students for internships, placements, higher education, research projects, hackathons, open-source contributions, and innovation initiatives.
- Encourage students to develop systems thinking, debugging skills, engineering judgment, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Collaborate with faculty members and industry experts to improve curriculum, pedagogy, and student learning outcomes.
- Contribute to academic planning, research, accreditation, quality assurance, lab development, and other academic initiatives.




- Participate in departmental and institutional initiatives that contribute to the growth of the academic program.

Technical Expertise

Strong understanding of:

- Computer Networks and TCP/IP fundamentals
- Computer Architecture and Organization
- Operating Systems and Systems Programming
- Digital Logic and Digital System Design
- VLSI fundamentals and RTL design
- CPU architecture, memory hierarchy, I/O systems, and performance optimization
- Networking protocols, distributed systems, and system-level design
- Hardware-software interaction and embedded systems

Hands-on experience with:

- Linux/Unix systems and system-level tools
- Wireshark, Packet Tracer, and networking troubleshooting tools
- AWS/Azure cloud and networking fundamentals
- RTL design using Verilog/SystemVerilog or similar HDLs
- VLSI design concepts, digital circuits, and hardware architecture
- FPGA/ASIC design, simulation, or hardware prototyping
- Network configuration, debugging, and performance analysis

Required Qualifications
- M.Tech/M.E. or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics/ECE, Electrical Engineering, VLSI, Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, Embedded Systems, or a related discipline.
- Strong academic record; UGC/AICTE eligibility preferred where applicable.
- 2+ years of experience in academia, teaching, research, technical training, or relevant industry roles.
- Strong expertise in one or more of Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, Digital Systems, VLSI/RTL Design, Embedded Systems,



or Systems Engineering.
- Relevant hands-on technical experience with systems, networking, hardware, simulation, cloud, or development tools is strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills
- Strong communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills.
- Experience with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and up-to-date teaching methodologies.
- Research publications in Computer Networks, Computer Architecture, Operating Systems, VLSI, RTL Design, Embedded Systems, or related domains.
- Experience mentoring student projects, hackathons, hardware/IoT projects, research initiatives, and innovation programs.
- Ability to bridge academic concepts with real-world industry practices.
- Strong interest in developing students' systems thinking, problem-solving, and hands-on engineering skills.
