Role Description The Assistant Professor (Anatomy/Physiology) will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in anatomy and physiology through lectures, demonstrations, and practical sessions. The role includes preparing and updating course materials, lesson plans, assessments, and evaluation methods aligned with institutional and regulatory standards. The faculty member will mentor students, guide them in academic projects, and support skill-based learning initiatives that integrate clinical and industry perspectives.

Responsibilities also include participating in curriculum development, academic committees,



and continuous improvement of teaching practices. This is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, requiring regular presence on campus for classes, student engagement, and departmental activities.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and teaching competence in human anatomy and physiology, including theoretical and practical components.
- Ability to design and deliver engaging, learner-centric instructional materials, assessments, and laboratory sessions.
- Proficiency in academic writing, documentation, and use of educational technology and learning management systems.
- Effective communication, classroom management, and mentorship skills to support diverse learners.
- Commitment to academic integrity, continuous professional development, and collaboration with colleagues and industry partners.
- Master’s degree or higher in Anatomy, Physiology, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution; PhD or ongoing doctoral work is an advantage.
- Prior teaching or clinical teaching experience in medical, allied health, or life sciences programs is highly beneficial.
- Familiarity with competency-based medical education and skill development frameworks is a plus.
