Summary of the Role: The Person will be responsible for Development of recent Proprietary parts with suppliers for Engine, Vehicle and Exhaust Treatment.

Details of the Job :

1 To study RFQ/SOR received from Engineering for development of new Proprietary components .To take up with potential suppliers for proposals.

2- To be interface between our Engineering team and suppliers for communication till right proposal is in place.

3- Techno commercial comparison of proposal received from different suppliers and sending proposal to Price Panel.

4- After Rate approved from Price Panel, To release Purchase order on supplier, To monitor Tooling Development, Track sample development, To offer samples to Quality and Engineering for testing. To coordinate for samples testing and approval with Supplier, R&D; and Quality teams. Further activities in NPD process like PPAP, system sign off,



Part handling analysis to be tracked. Person having knowledge of PLM, Auto Transmission and Engine Software will have added advantage.

Regular procurement through MRP till item is handed over to SCM team for regular procurement.
