Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop suspension systems (Air suspension, leaf spring suspension) for Bus applications

- Perform CAD modeling and detailing using SolidWorks

- Conduct design calculations, simulations, and support for FEA analysis for strength and durability

- Collaborate with Customer Engineering, Service, Purchase teams

- Work with suppliers for component development, validation, and cost optimization

- Support prototype builds, testing, and validation (ride, handling, durability testing)

- Analyze test & failure data and implement design improvements

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Manage engineering changes and documentation (BOM, drawings, design reports)

- Support cost reduction and value engineering initiatives

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors / masters degree in mechanical engineering

- 3–5 years of experience in automotive design (preferably in Chassis system aggregates of Buses or commercial vehicles)





- Strong knowledge of suspension systems, vehicle dynamics, and chassis design

- Proficiency in CAD software (Solid works preferred)

- Understanding of manufacturing processes (forging, casting, fabrication)

- Familiarity with testing standards and validation processes

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Bus or heavy commercial vehicle development

- Exposure to air suspension systems and ECAS (Electronically Controlled Air Suspension)

- Knowledge of global automotive standards and regulations
