Assistant Manager - SAP SD

About the Company A growing SAP consulting/services organization that manages implementation, rollout, and support engagements for external customers across industries.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced SAP SD functional consultant to work independently as the primary SD resource on customer engagements - handling everything from requirement gathering to configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancement of the SD module, in either a project or support setting.

What You Will Do

1. Work directly with customer business users to understand, analyze, and translate requirements into SAP SD solutions.
2. Configure and support the full O2C cycle, including GST/VAT, Consignment, Contract, Pricing Procedures, e-Invoice, CIN, and Credit Management processes.
3. Write detailed functional specifications for complex requirements and coordinate on user exits, BAdIs, and enhancements.
4. Independently lead process discussions with business stakeholders and propose SAP-based solutions.
5.



Troubleshoot and enhance live SAP SD functionality for customers on an ongoing basis.
6. Travel to customer sites as needed for the engagement.

What We're Looking For

1. 4-9 years of SAP SD functional experience, with at least one full implementation project AND one separate rollout/support project.
2. Hands-on experience across the complete O2C cycle - GST/VAT, Consignment, Contract, Pricing Procedures, e-Invoice, CIN, and Credit Management.
3. Experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA (S/4HANA strongly preferred, especially from recent implementations/rollouts).
4. Ability to work independently as the sole SD consultant on an account, without heavy reliance on a larger module team.
5. Strong communication skills and ability to lead process discussions directly with business users.
6. Experience writing functional specs and working with user exits/BAdIs/enhancements.
7. SAP SD certification is a plus, though not mandatory.
8. Immediate joiners or those with a notice period of up to 15 days strongly preferred.
