Position Overview and Responsibilities The Assistant Production Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day production of glass ampoules and tubular vials, ensuring achievement of production, quality, yield, efficiency and safety targets.

The position requires a robust shop-floor orientation with hands-on knowledge of mechanical processes and the ability to troubleshoot machines, processes and product-quality issues while effectively managing production teams.

Responsibilities include

· Plan and execute daily and shift-wise production as per the production schedule.

· Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum utilization of machines, manpower and materials.

· Monitor machine output, rejection, yield, downtime and productivity.

· Setting and maintaining dimensional and cosmetic vision systems

· Coordinate product and size changeovers and minimise changeover time and production losses

· Analyse major production losses and implement corrective actions.

· Identify opportunities for waste reduction and process optimisation & drive continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

· Ensure production is carried out according to approved SOPs,



specifications and quality requirements.

· Support investigation of deviations, non-conformances and customer complaints.

· Ensure compliance with applicable GMP/GDP requirements and the company's ISO 9001 and ISO 15378 systems

· Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.

· Identify recurring machine problems and work with maintenance to eliminate root causes.

· Prepare Batch Manufacturing Records

· Provide regular reports and KPIs to senior management

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications

· Minimum B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Electrical, Instrumentation or a related engineering discipline

· Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing (candidates with experience handling vision systems preferred)

· Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic computer applications

· Proficiency in English

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
