Job Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) / Commissioning – Pharma Water Systems

Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager / Manager in Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) / Commissioning. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmaceutical equipment, water systems, and a solid background in commissioning and maintenance of high-purity water systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the commissioning and validation of high-purity water systems, including RO, EDI, and UV systems, ensuring compliance with pharmacopeial standards.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of water treatment plants, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Implement and monitor predictive maintenance strategies utilizing IoT and AI-based remote monitoring tools.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution from installation to handover.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements during all phases of system operation.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices in O&M; and commissioning.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all maintenance and commissioning activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical, Chemical, or related fields.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in operations, maintenance, and commissioning of pharmaceutical water systems.
- Proficient in handling equipment such as RO, EDI, UV systems, and understanding of clean utility systems.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with IoT and AI-based monitoring systems is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
