About HI DMC

HI DMC is a part of HI TOURS GROUP a 30-year-old travel group with businesses spanning destination management, incentive travel and leisure holidays. HI DMC works with international tour operators and travel agents to design and operate journeys across India and the subcontinent.

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Inbound Reservations and Operations to manage our travel partners’ group bookings and ensure that every hotel stay and travel arrangement is confirmed, communicated and delivered correctly by taking ownership from the first brief through to a successful departure and final file closure.

The Role

You will be the day-to-day contact for assigned international clients and their group departures. Your focus will be on reservations, coordination and delivery: turning each confirmed programme into a complete set of hotel, transport, guide and experience arrangements.

This role suits someone who enjoys building client trust through prompt communication, meticulous follow-through and calm handling of changes during a live tour.

Key Responsibilities

- Client coordination: Manage day-to-day communication with assigned overseas partners, respond promptly to booking requests and keep them updated on confirmations, changes and outstanding items.
- Hotel reservations: Book and reconfirm group rooms, manage allocations, rooming lists, meal plans, special requests, release dates and waitlists.
- Travel arrangements: Coordinate transport, guides, sightseeing, activities, domestic flights and trains where required, ensuring each service matches the agreed itinerary.
- Departure readiness: Maintain accurate group files and check that all services,



passenger details, vouchers and supplier instructions are complete before arrival.
- Live group support: Monitor departures, resolve changes or service issues quickly and keep the client and relevant internal teams informed.
- Commercial accuracy: Check supplier rates, amendments, advances and invoices against the agreed programme; flag cost changes and protect file profitability.
- Team coordination: Allocate and review reservation tasks, follow up on pending confirmations and provide clear handovers and backup cover for every group.

What We Are Looking For

- 10+ years of inbound travel operations or reservations experience, with substantial experience managing international groups.
- Strong knowledge of Indian hotels, group rooming processes and multi-city travel logistics.
- Experience coordinating hotels, transport, guides and other ground services across several simultaneous departures.
- Excellent written English and confidence communicating directly with overseas tour operators.
- Robust organisation, attention to detail, supplier follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence using reservation, CRM and operations systems to maintain accurate, current files.
