Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to manage end-to-end HR operations, including payroll processing, employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and HR administration. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing HR functions independently. Prior experience in the retail industry is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, employee documentation, confirmations, transfers, and exits.
- Handle monthly payroll processing accurately and within defined timelines.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, new joiners, exits, and other payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with finance/payroll teams and ensure timely salary processing and payroll closure.
- Handle PF, ESI, PT, TDS, gratuity, bonus, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain payroll reports, salary registers, and HR MIS.
- Manage employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns.
- Support recruitment and manpower planning for corporate and retail/store requirements.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, induction, engagement, and exit formalities.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRMS/database.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, company policies, and statutory regulations.
- Support performance management, appraisal cycles, and employee development initiatives.
- Handle full & final settlements and exit documentation.




- Conduct regular employee interactions and address HR-related queries.
- Coordinate with business/store managers to understand and fulfil manpower requirements.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Manage HR activities across multiple stores/locations, where applicable.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in HR Generalist/HR Operations roles.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end payroll processing is mandatory.
- Prior experience in the retail industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Experience handling store/field/blue-collar employees will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and HRMS/payroll software.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple HR functions and meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with 5+ years of hands-on HR experience, particularly those who have independently managed payroll, compliance, employee relations, and HR operations in the retail sector, will be preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹700,000.00 per year
