We are looking for a hands-on Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Accounts to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation, billing, banking, reconciliations and payment activities.
The candidate must have robust practical experience in Tally, accounting entries, GST and TDS returns. These are mandatory and non-negotiable requirements for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and ensure accurate accounting entries in Tally.
- Handle purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal entries.
- Verify vendor bills, invoices and supporting documents before processing.
- Prepare and raise sales/customer invoices and maintain billing records.
- Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve unreconciled transactions.
- Handle vendor payments, online banking transactions and payment tracking.
- Maintain payment trackers and follow up on pending payments.
- Prepare and file GST returns, including GST workings, reconciliation and input tax credit verification.
- Handle TDS calculations,
workings and TDS return filing.
- Maintain GST and TDS records, challans and supporting documentation.
- Review ledgers and identify accounting discrepancies.
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, auditors and tax consultants.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting and statutory records.
- Assist with audits and provide accounting/tax-related information and supporting documents.
- Prepare periodic MIS, financial workings and other reports required by management.
- Handle loan, banking and other financial documentation as required.
- Assist senior management with accounting and finance-related assignments.
Mandatory Requirements Candidates must have hands-on practical experience in all of the following:
- Tally – Mandatory
- Accounting entries in Tally – Mandatory
- GST return preparation and filing – Mandatory
- TDS return preparation and filing – Mandatory
Candidates without practical experience in GST & TDS return filing, Tally and accounting entries will not be considered.
