Role Description This is a full-time, in office Assistant Maintenance Manager role based in Bengaluru. The role involves supervising maintenance activities on production equipment and utilities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include planning and executing preventive maintenance schedules, coordinating breakdown repairs, and monitoring equipment performance to reduce downtime.

The Assistant Maintenance

Manager will support maintenance budgeting, spare parts management, compliance with safety and environmental standards, and documentation of maintenance records. The role also includes guiding maintenance technicians,



collaborating with production and quality teams, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives in the plant.

Qualifications

- Strong supervisory skills to lead maintenance teams and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
- Proficiency in equipment maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
- Experience in preventive maintenance planning and execution to improve equipment reliability and uptime.
- Knowledge of maintenance management practices, including maintenance scheduling, documentation, and spare parts control.
- Background in industrial or automotive manufacturing environment, preferably in commercial vehicle components.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of safety standards, environmental regulations, and best practices in plant maintenance.
- Ability to analyze maintenance data, use basic maintenance software or CMMS tools, and support continuous improvement projects.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills for cross-functional work.
