Role Description The Assistant Maintenance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhilai (C.G.). This role supports the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities across equipment and facilities to ensure safe, reliable, and productive operations.

Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing maintenance and repair tasks, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, monitoring equipment performance, and coordinating with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime. The role involves supervising maintenance staff, managing maintenance records, assisting in vendor coordination,



and ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies.

The Assistant Maintenance

Manager is expected to identify improvement opportunities, support root-cause analysis of recurring issues, and contribute to cost-effective maintenance strategies.

Your role will involve supervising a team of technicians and coordinating maintenance activities related to EOT Cranes, power presses, hydraulic presses, shearing machines, cold forming machines, Goliath cranes, CNC drill machines, oxyfuel cutting machines, beam straightening machines, SAW welding machines, LT power systems, DG power plants, 33 KV HT line VCBs, and transformers.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong maintenance management skills, including Maintenance Management and Maintenance & Repair.
- Candidates should possess solid technical skills related to Equipment Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance.
- Candidates should possess effective Supervisory Skills for guiding maintenance teams and coordinating work.
- Relevant experience in industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure settings is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline is beneficial.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations, maintenance best practices, and documentation standards is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
