Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Assistant General Manager – Finance (AGM – Finance) to oversee the finance and accounts functions across the Group of Companies.

The role will be responsible for financial planning and strategy, accounting, budgeting, MIS and reporting, taxation, statutory compliance, audit, internal controls, cash flow management, and financial risk management across multiple business verticals.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in NBFC finance operations, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to provide strategic financial insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee finance and accounting operations across the Group of Companies.
- Manage financial functions covering NBFC, hospitality, realty, and fuel station operations.
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies, policies, systems, and controls aligned with business objectives.
- Lead annual budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and variance analysis.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS, management reports, and financial dashboards.
- Ensure timely and accurate statutory, regulatory, and management reporting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation laws, Companies Act requirements, and NBFC-related regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and manage internal audits, statutory audits, tax audits, and regulatory inspections.




- Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax authorities, consultants, banks, financial institutions, and regulatory authorities.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls, risk management systems, and financial governance practices.
- Monitor working capital, cash flow, receivables, payables, investments, borrowings, and overall liquidity.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, business risks, profitability trends, and growth opportunities.
- Provide strategic financial advice to the Managing Director / Senior Management on investments, cost optimization, business expansion, financial risks, and capital requirements.
- Review the financial performance of individual business verticals and provide actionable insights to management.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring accountability and high performance.
- Drive improvements in ERP, accounting systems, financial processes, automation, and reporting mechanisms.
- Ensure strong financial discipline and standardized accounting practices across all Group entities.
- Support management in business planning, new projects, expansion initiatives, and financial decision-making.

Qualification
- Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory
- Additional qualifications/certifications in Finance, Financial Management, or Business Administration will be an advantage.

Experience
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Strong experience in an NBFC, financial services organization, or similar regulated financial institution is mandatory.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior/leadership role managing core finance operations.
- Experience handling finance functions across multiple companies or business verticals will be highly preferred.
- Robust exposure to financial reporting, taxation, audit, budgeting, MIS, compliance, and financial planning.




- Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, and financial reporting tools.
