Assistant Factory Manager – The Assistant Factory Manager supports the Production Manager and his team in ensuring smooth, disciplined and productive functioning of Units. The role provides operational coordination for production planning and execution, without owning the planning function itself. It ensures that the Production Manager’s plans are supported through timely material availability, machinery readiness, manpower deployment and issue closure.

The Assistant Factory Manager oversees technical projects, machinery performance, preventive maintenance, packaging vendor coordination, daily plant monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a steady presence on the shop floor, early identification of abnormalities, and structured follow‑up with OEMs, vendors and internal teams. It also includes coordinating audits, managing utilities, verifying bills, preparing factory presentations and ensuring the plant remains consistently ready for internal, customer and statutory reviews.

This position calls for a grounded leader who strengthens processes, supports production execution, and builds long‑term reliability across all three units.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the Production Manager in production planning and execution across Units by ensuring material readiness, manpower availability, machinery uptime and timely issue closure.
- Coordinate technical projects including quotations,



vendor discussions, technical evaluations, project planning and installation activities.
- Manage packaging material vendor interactions covering pricing, availability, quality concerns and supply‑related issues.
- Conduct interviews and support recruitment of operators, supervisors and online QC personnel.
- Carry out daily plant visits to identify abnormalities, safety or quality concerns and process deviations, and ensure timely corrective action.
- Participate in machine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and follow‑up with OEMs and vendors.
- Drive internal improvement projects and operational efficiency initiatives across all three units.
- Plan and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely procurement of spare parts and maintenance materials.
- Ensure audit compliance by coordinating closure of observations and maintaining plant readiness for internal, customer and statutory audits.
- Track utility consumption, investigate deviations and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost control.
- Coordinate visits of government officials and statutory authorities, ensuring documentation, plant preparedness and smooth execution.

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
