Role Description The Assistant Facility Engineer role at Bureau Veritas is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru. This role involves supporting the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of building facilities and related infrastructure.

The Assistant Facility

Engineer monitors daily facility operations, coordinates routine and preventive maintenance activities, and responds to technical issues and breakdowns. The role includes assisting in vendor coordination, documenting maintenance activities,



ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and supporting continuous improvement of facility performance. The position also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to uphold safety, quality, and environmental guidelines within the facility.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Facilities Engineering and Facilities Operations to support day-to-day technical and operational activities.
- Candidates should possess skills in Facility Management (FM) to coordinate services, manage vendors, and maintain asset records.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance to diagnose issues, minimize downtime, and extend equipment life.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and environmental compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Previous experience in facility operations or maintenance within industrial, commercial, or corporate environments is an advantage.
