Role Description The Assistant Chef will support daily kitchen operations, including preparing Appe and related menu items according to APPECO.IN’s standardized recipes and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities include assisting with ingredient preparation, cooking and plating dishes, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, and ensuring quick, consistent service in a high-volume QSR environment. The role involves coordinating with the Head Chef and kitchen team, managing kitchen inventory,



and helping implement new menu items and process improvements. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhilai, requiring presence during operational hours, including weekends and peak periods.

Qualifications

- Foundational culinary skills, including basic cooking techniques, food preparation, and familiarity with Indian snacks or QSR-style menus.
- Strong focus on hygiene, food safety practices, and cleanliness in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Ability to follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.
- Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with chefs, service staff, and management.
- Time management and multitasking capability to handle high order volumes during peak hours.
- Willingness to learn modern culinary methods and adapt to current menu innovations and operational processes.
- Prior experience in a restaurant, café, or QSR kitchen is preferred but not mandatory.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by store operations.
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment operation and safety procedures.
