Role Summary:
Terracegate is seeking to lead client engagements, manage projects, and provide strategic and practical support across a range of business and advisory matters.
The role involves working closely with global clients, senior leadership, and external professional advisors to understand requirements, coordinate execution, and ensure timely delivery. The individual will work across multiple disciplines, including legal, tax, finance, operations, compliance, and other professional services.
A legal background is preferred, particularly for candidates with experience in corporate, commercial, regulatory, or cross-border matters.
The role requires strong client management, project ownership, problem-solving, and team leadership capabilities, with the ability to operate independently across multiple and evolving client requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
- Act as a key point of contact for clients across ongoing advisory and business matters.
- Attend client meetings and calls to understand business requirements, challenges, and objectives.
- Translate client requirements into actionable plans and deliverables.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, senior stakeholders, and professional advisors.
- Manage client expectations and provide timely updates on priorities, progress, risks, and deliverables.
Project & Engagement Management
- Lead end-to-end execution of client engagements, ensuring timelines, priorities, and quality standards are met.
- Develop project plans, track deliverables, identify dependencies, and proactively address risks and delays.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors, including legal counsel, tax consultants, accountants, technology partners,
and other service providers.
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously across different business areas and jurisdictions.
- Adapt project plans and priorities based on changing client requirements.
Advisory & Problem Solving
- Analyze complex business, operational, and advisory matters and develop practical solutions.
- Support clients on matters involving regulatory compliance, corporate structuring, governance, market entry, business operations, and other advisory requirements.
- Conduct research and coordinate with subject-matter experts where specialist input is required.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and potential issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Provide practical recommendations based on client requirements and available information.
- Take a proactive, self-starting approach to identifying client needs, potential opportunities, and emerging issues, without relying on detailed direction or supervision.
- Develop and apply strategic thinking to client engagements, considering both immediate requirements and longer-term business objectives, risks, and opportunities.
Team Management & Leadership
- Manage and provide direction to team members supporting client engagements.
- Allocate responsibilities, establish priorities, and monitor quality and timelines.
- Review team deliverables and provide guidance and feedback.
- Coach and develop team members through regular feedback and knowledge sharing.
- Ensure effective collaboration between internal teams and external service providers.
- Take ownership of team delivery and performance across assigned engagements.
Stakeholder & External Advisor Management
- Coordinate with senior management, clients, external counsel, professional advisors, and service providers.
- Manage external relationships and ensure deliverables are completed within agreed timelines.
- Maintain explicit accountability across stakeholders and follow up on outstanding actions.
- Represent Terracegate professionally in client and external interactions.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation of client requirements, project plans, decisions, risks, and action items.
- Prepare client updates, management reports, presentations, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure key decisions and deliverables are appropriately recorded and tracked.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive client and business information.
Qualification and Experience:
- 8-10 years of relevant experience in consulting, advisory, professional services, legal, corporate services, or a similar client-facing environment.
- Legal background preferred LLB, LLM, or relevant legal experience will be an advantage.
- Strong experience managing client relationships and complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in project ownership and end-to-end delivery.
- Prior experience managing, mentoring, or leading team members.
- Self-starter with the ability to identify priorities, take initiative, and drive matters forward independently in an evolving client environment.
- Solid strategic thinking and commercial awareness, with the ability to connect individual client requirements to broader business objectives and identify longer-term implications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary areas including legal, tax, finance, operations, and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a flexible, global working environment.
- Ability to work with international clients and stakeholders across different time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- LLB / LLM or equivalent legal qualification.
- Experience in corporate law, commercial law, regulatory matters, corporate advisory, or cross-border transactions.
- Consulting or professional services experience.
- Experience working with family offices, private clients, investment firms, or other high-net-worth client environments.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
