Hiring: ASIC Physical Design Engineers

Experience: 6 to 15 Years | Hyderabad / Bangalore | Work From Office

We are hiring experienced ASIC Physical Design Engineers for a confidential client engagement.

This is a full time, onsite opportunity for professionals with strong hands on experience across the complete physical design flow and advanced low power designs.

Role Requirements

Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in ECE

Experience: 6 to 15 Years

Locations: Hyderabad and Bangalore

Work Mode: Work From Office only

Shift: General Shift

Work Week: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

- Handle top level floor planning, power grid planning and partitioning
- Placement, scan chain reordering and clock tree synthesis
- Timing optimization and timing closure
- SI aware routing and signal integrity closure
- Static Timing Analysis and timing closure using PrimeTime / PrimeTime SI
- Handle timing and functional ECOs
- Perform DRC, LVS and Antenna checks
- Work on IR Drop Analysis, extraction and physical verification
- Interface with front end ASIC teams to resolve design issues




- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to physical design engineers
- Prioritize work based on project requirements and coordinate across multiple teams

Technical Skills Candidates should have strong experience in:
- ASIC Physical Design
- Floor Planning, P&R;, Extraction and Timing Closure
- 65nm or lower technology nodes
- Advanced Low Power Design techniques including Voltage Islands, Power Gating and Substrate Bias
- Timing closure on DDR2, DDR3 and PCIe interfaces
- Cadence, Synopsys or Magma Physical Design tools
- PrimeTime / PrimeTime SI
- PERL and TCL scripting
- Strong Physical Verification skills
- Signal Integrity and IR Drop Analysis
- Solid written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work effectively across design, front end and verification teams.
